OUR LADY PEACE – DISCOGRAPHY

Our Lady Peace, often abbreviated OLP, is a Canadian alternative rock band consisting of Raine Maida (vocals, guitar), Duncan Coutts (bass), Jeremy Taggart (drums), and Steve Mazur (guitar). Until 2001, guitarist and founding member Mike Turner was a member of the band. During their career they have sold over 5 million albums worldwide, won four Juno Awards out of twenty nominations, and won ten MuchMusic Video Awards, including the People’s Choice Award in 1997, 1998 and 2000. They have the most awards won by any artist or group at the MMVA’s. The band has finished its ‘Paranoid Times Tour’, which saw them stopping in several North American cities between April and May of 2006. With them was a fifth stage member, Joel Shearer (of the band Pedestrian).

The Green & Blue Open Air on the first September weekend has become a fixed date in the festival schedule for seven years now. Each year towards the end of summer, Sven Vath and his crew have turned the Waldschwimmbad in Obertshausen near Frankfurt into a dream of green meadow, blue water, lots of trees and light installations, ending with a grand final with laser show and fireworks and, above all, being surrounded by music from the best artists that the electronic music scene has to offer.
In this year, the second edition of the associated Mix-CD is to be released, mixed by two DJs who are able to revert on both long-time experience and innovation in sound: Tobi Neumann and Onur Ozer. On these two CDs (each DJ is responsible for one mix), the two excellent turntable artists – who, as a team are also known as Sensitiva – are giving an outline of current Techno and TechHouse tracks.

Scar Symmetry – Holographic Universe (2008)

Uhhhh, I am sorry guys for posting this with a delay, but it somehow just went by me =/

Thanks a big lot to user Alius who sent me a PM to write about this release This band is

one of my favorites so I was really excited when i saw that theres a p2p release of this out,

knowing scene rls will come soon and here it is. This release hit us some days ago pre’d by

an elite group So, if you like Melo Death, definitely check out their old Album: “Pitch

Black Progress”; it contains some killer songs like The Illusionist, Dreaming 24/7, The

Kaleidoscopic God. Don’t forget to buy their stuff, I also did!

In June 2006, it was announced that the band had signed a new recording deal with Nuclear

Blast records. Eight months after the release of Symmetric In Design the band found

themselves back in the studio to record their follow-up, Pitch Black Progress. The band again

followed up their recording by touring, this time with Communic for the Waves of Pitch Black

Decay Tour 2006 throughout Europe and toured North America with melodic death metal pioneers

Dark Tranquillity, and The Haunted. They also performed at more European festivals. The song,

“The Illusionist” began receiving air-play on MTV2’s Headbangers Ball.

In September of 2007, the band embarked on another North American tour with headliners

Katatonia as well as Insomnium and Swallow the Sun.
